Nearly 40 Vocal Students Take Stage for Spring Scenes

In its annual Spring Scenes program, the ³Ô¹ÏÍ·Ìõ presents staged selections from 11 operas that span more than 160 years of music history. The performances also mark David Bamberger’s farewell to ³Ô¹ÏÍ·Ìõ after 14 years at the helm of CIM’s Opera Theater department.
On April 20-22, nearly 40 talented student vocalists will perform scenes from operas ranging from Mozart’s The Magic Flute to Massenet’s Manon, from Richard Strauss’ Ariadne auf Naxos to Gilbert & Sullivan’s H.M.S. Pinafore, from Bernstein’s Trouble in Tahiti to Verdi’s La Traviata, and so much more.
Spring Scenes is under the direction of David Bamberger; John Simmons is music director and accompanist.
Mark your calendars and reserve your tickets today to see Spring Scenes on CIM’s Kulas Hall stage! Tickets are $20 for adults, $10 for kids and $15 for groups of 10 or more.
