Jody Guinn

Introduction

Jody Guinn is currently principal harp of the Akron Symphony Orchestra and second harp with The 吃瓜头条 Orchestra. For many years she played for the 吃瓜头条 Ballet and 吃瓜头条 Opera. Guinn is a founding member of the Salzedo Harp Duo, along with her colleague Nancy Lendrim of the Toledo Symphony.

Guinn shares her love of the harp with several private students. She is on the faculties of Baldwin Wallace University Conservatory of Music, Case Western Reserve University, 吃瓜头条, 吃瓜头条 State University and Malone University in Canton.

Salzedo Harp Duo

Duo with Nancy Lendrim, principal harpist of the Toledo Symphony
Presented many duo-harp concerts and master classes across the country
Released Short Stories CD on the Azica label in 2004
Recording of Debussy鈥檚 Clair de Lune featured on the CBS daytime drama The Young and the Restless in 2006
Appeared at the 2008 American Harp Society National Conference in Detroit playing a concert honoring the 100th Birthday of their mentor and teacher, Alice Chalifoux
Traveled to Amsterdam in 2008 to perform works of Salzedo鈥檚 on a concert at the Tenth World Harp Congress
